Coming 2026

Memento Vivere documents the emergent visual language of intentionally imperfect tattoos. Defined by uneven linework, lack of cohesion and symmetry, and compositional irregularity, this form rejects the hyper-polished and technical perfection of the industry. By inscribing the raw and imperfect lines permanently on the body, this countercultural movement transforms technical error into visual authorship.

I will be shooting this project on Kodak Ektachrome and scanning the film with the Heidelberg Tango Drum Scanner. I plan to shoot both the artists and some of their clients.

I already have shot with DirtyLooks, Koncky, and Letur, and plan to shoot some more with KuntryLooks, SnuggeLug, and Extra_hot_club_mix.
